How to Install Exodus on Kodi: Two Exodus Kodi Addons (Redux and Exodus V8) in 2024

• Inside the “File Manager”, double-click on “Add source”.
• Click on “None” and enter https://i-a-c.github.io/.
• Click “OK” and name the file.
• In the main menu to the left side of Kodi, open the “Add-ons” folder.
• Select “Install from the Zip File” and click on “IAC” from the box.
• Select the file “repository.exodusredux-0.0.8.zip” and wait until the installation is completed.
• Click on “Install from Repository”, and then select the Exodus Redux Repo.
• Select the “Video Add-ons” folder and then click on “Exodus Redux”.
• Click on “Install”.

1. Open Kodi and go to “Settings”.

2. Select “System option”.

3. Click on “Add-ons” and enable “Unknown Sources”.

4. Click “Yes” on the warning message.

5. Go back to the “Settings” menu and click on “File Manager”.

6. Double-click on “Add Source”.

7. Click on “None”.

8. Enter the URL https://i-a-c.github.io/ and click “OK”, save it with the name “IAC” and click “OK” to close the box.

9. Go back to the “System” menu and then click on “Add-ons”.

10. Select “Install from Zip File”.

11. Select “Exodus Redux”.

12. Select “repository.exodusredux-0.0.8.zip” and complete the installation.

13. Then click on “Install from Repository”.

14. From the list, click on “Exodus Redux Repo”.

15. Select the folder “Video Add-ons” and click on “Exodus Redux”.

16. Press “Install”.

17. Click on “Exodus Redux Repo Version 2.0.3a”.

18. A window will display the files that are going to be installed. Click OK.

Git Browser is part of the Indigo Kodi addon. Sometimes links and repositories stop working, so we decided to include Git Browser as an alternative option to install Exodus Redux. 

1. Open the “Add-ons” page from Kodi’s menu on the left.
2. Select “Program add-ons” and open Indigo.​​
3. Select “Addon installer”.
4.  Click on “Git Browser”.
5.  Close the prompt titled “GitHub Browser Instructions” – this message might not appear.
6. Select “Search by GitHub Username”.

10. Confirm and click “Install”.
11. Once the installation is completed, select “Continue”.

13. Select the open-box icon or package installer on the top-left corner.
14. Install from repository.
15. Click “Exodus Redux Repo”.
16. Open “Video add-ons” and select the “Exodus Redux” addon
    
17. Select “Install”
    
18. Wait for the Kodi Exodus Redux addon installation notification to appear on the top.
19. Once the installation is completed you can open Exodus Redux from the “Add-ons” folder.

First of all, let us remind you that both Exodus Redux Kodi and Exodus are free. At the moment, Exodus Redux is more consistent because it is the version that gets more updates, and is linked to stronger files where the best media will be streamed from. But both versions of Exodus will be satisfactory since they perform at a solid and fast speed, and have one of the largest media libraries within Kodi’s galaxy.

If you want to install Exodus V8 – the older version of Exodus also known as Exodus Kodi – or other addons, follow the same steps, but use the URL that will pull the repository and addon that you are looking for. For V8 use this URL to add source: http://mega-tron.tv/transform.

1. Open the “File manager” inside the “Settings” page.
2. “Add Source” and click on “None”.
3. Type the URL: http://mega-tron.tv/transform
4. Name the source in the field that says “Enter a name for the media source”.
5. Go back to “Settings” by clicking the gear icon on the home-screen and click on “Add-ons”.
6. On the following window, click “Install from zip file”.
7. Select the source from the list – in this case, we named it “transform”.
8. Now open the “Repos” folder.
9. Click the zip file named “repository.kodibae-x.x.x.zip”.
10. Wait for the repository to be fully installed – it will display a message on the top right corner.
11. Open the option “Install from repository”.
12. Click on “Kodi Bae Repository”.
13. Open the “Video add-ons” folder.
14. Find “Exodus” and click.
15. Click the “Install” button on the lower right corner.
16. When you see the message “The following additional add-ons will be installed”, click on “OK”.
17. Once the installation is complete, you will see a message on the top right corner that says “Add-on installed”.

• Clear Cache

If the addon is slow or not running streams you might need to clear the cache. Try this:

1. Open Kodi .
