How to Install the 4K Addon on Kodi in 2024

Gone are the days when finding quality 4K content was tricky. With 4K TVs becoming more affordable than ever, you can easily find binge-worthy content these days. All you need to do is to find out where to look, and you’ll have enough content to stay glued to your 4K TV for hours on end.

You can easily download and install the Kodi application from the Downloader app on your Firestick. If you don’t have this application, download it from the store (Search for Downloader in the search bar). 

After installing the Downloader app, open it and type the Kodi app URL to download it onto your Android TV or Firestick. Remember to turn on the Unknown Sources option from your settings to allow the Downloader app to download the Kodi app.

• Launch the Kodi app and go to Settings.

Select the System option.

• Now that you’ve enabled installation from unknown sources, open the File Manager from the home page.

• Select the Add Source option.

• Click <None> in the dialogue box.

• A pop-up will appear.
  Type this URL: http://narcacist.com/repo.

• After writing the URL, click Add.

Next, enter a name for the file source and click Ok.

• Return to the app’s home page and click on the addons.
  
• Select Install from zip file option on the following page.

• If a pop-up appears (it usually comes up in Kodi 19 Matrix), select Yes.

• Choose the file you just saved.

• Click on the link (repository.NarcacistWizard.zip) and press the OK button.

• After a few minutes have passed, you will see a side pop-up telling you that your repository is installed.

• Now, it’s time to install your file from this repository.
• Select the Install from repository option on your Kodi’s homepage.

• Choose your saved file’s repository.

• You will see a bunch of addons’ options in this tab.
  Choose Video addons.

• Scroll down to the 4K option.

• Select the 4K option and click on Install.

• A pop-up will appear asking your permission to install additional addons.

Select Ok.

A few minutes later, you’ll see a confirmation pop-up telling you that the addon has been installed. Wait for this pop-up (it may take longer to appear).

After the pop-up has appeared, go to the homepage and select the addons option. 

• You should be able to see the addon you just installed in the Video addons tab.
