About Strix App

Strix is one of the best streaming apps you can install at the moment. It is an all-in-one app that lets you watch free movies, TV shows, and Live TV. There’s also an adult section that you can hide/unhide and protect with a password. But that’s not the best part yet.

The reason behind the popularity of Strix is that the app is readily available on the official Firestick store. This means that you can get it running within a few minutes, and from there, you can integrate Real-Debrid and stream free content in up to 4k!

Sounds like something you should check out?

This guide will take you through the process of installing Strix on Firestick. We’ll also show you to set up Real-Debrid and stay safe using ExpressVPN.

How to Install Strix from the Amazon Store

Strix somehow manages to find itself on the official Amazon store as the streaming app disguises itself as “an app that shows an example of a project to show moving between activities.” This means that you can install it quickly, but we’ll also show you how to sideload the app in case Amazon removes it from the official store.

Here’s how to install Strix from the Firestick store:

  1. Go to the Firestick homepage and hover over Find, then click Search.Amazon Firestick with Find highlighted, Navigate to the Find menu
  2. Now, type Strix and select Strix App to search for the app. It will be provided as a suggestion.Type Strix app
  3. Strix will appear as the primary suggestion. Click on it.Select Strix App
  4. Now, click Download to install the app.Strix Installing
  5. After the installation, you will get the option to open the app. Click it.Strix app Open highlighted
  6. Strix will now ask for storage permission. Grant it by clicking Allow.Allow Strix to access photos, media and files on your device

If you’ve followed this procedure, you should now have Strix installed. You can skip to the ‘How to Setup Real-Debrid on Strix’ section to start streaming.

How to Set Up Real-Debrid on Firestick

When you launch Strix, you’ll find that it has lots of movie and TV show titles. However, when you open any of these titles, you’ll notice that you can’t play it as there are no links.

To fix this, you’ll need to set up a Real-Debrid account. Here’s the procedure:

  1. Go to the Strix homepage and click Settings on the top left corner.Strix settings button
  2. Click Real Debrid – Login.Strix title page – no links
  3. You should now get a Real-Debrid code.
  4. Open your browser on your computer or mobile device and go to https://real-debrid.com/device. Enter the code provided and click Allow.
  5. Your browser will then tell you that your application has been allowed.
  6. You will also get a notification on the app.

Now that you have added Real-Debrid, you can go back and open a title. This time round, you should see lots of streamable links in up to 4k depending on the title.

At this point, you need to ensure that your ExpressVPN app is connected. From there, just select any link, and your title will start playing.

How to Use ExpressVPN to Say Safe on Firestick

It’s important to note that Strix is not an official streaming app, despite being available on the Amazon store. The app doesn’t host the content it provides, and neither does Real-Debrid, the service used to provide streams.

Such ambiguity means that you can often access pirated content, which is illegal in most regions. ExpressVPN helps you stay safe by encrypting all your traffic such that your ISP can’t tell what you are accessing, and copyright trolls also can’t connect your activities back to you.

The VPN uses best-in-class AES-256 encryption, and it doesn’t store any usage or connection logs to ensure you remain private and anonymous. ExpressVPN is also super-fast, and its all-around performance makes it the best VPN for streaming.

Here’s a quick guide on how to get started with ExpressVPN.

Step 1: Sign Up with ExpressVPN

The first thing you need to do is create an account with the VPN.

  1. Head to the official ExpressVPN website using your browser and click Get ExpressVPN.Sign up for ExpressVPN
  2. Now, select a subscription plan between the monthly, 6-month, and 12-month plans. All plans offer the same features and functionalities, and they come with a 30-day money-back guarantee for risk-free testing.ExpressVPN Subscription Plans

One of the best ExpressVPN features is that it comes with a huge server network, so you can also select your preferred server from a network of 3,000+ servers spread across 160 locations in 94 countries. To do so, click the highlighted server on the main page, and you’ll see the entire server list. Note that you can also select a server at the city-level.vpncheck-location-options-express-vpn-firestick
