Intro: UK Turks App and UK Turks Kodi Addon

UK Turks is a great addition to the Amazon Firestick and other android streaming devices. As one of the top Firestick apps, it’s easy to see why it’s so popular among Firestick users. However, if you prefer to use Kodi, it is also available as a Kodi addon and can be set up with little effort – all of which will be explained in this guide.

While installing any app or addon on Kodi or Firestick, our first and foremost concern is always the safety of that app or addon. Since the UK Turks app isn’t available on the Amazon App Store, and the UK Turks Kodi addon isn’t available on the official Kodi repository, you might think that there are some harmful viruses or links in the URL.

However, we ran a comprehensive check on the UK Turks app and Kodi addon and didn’t find anything harmful. The UK Turks app and Kodi addon are safe to use and enjoy.

Like many other great apps that you can install on Amazon Firestick, the UK Turks app needs to be sideloaded to enhance your cord-cutting experience. By sideloading, we mean that you have to use another app to install the UK Turks app on your Amazon Firestick. This article will give you a detailed step-by-step guide on sideloading the UK Turks app on Amazon Firestick.

The UK Turks app is a must-have for your Amazon Firestick if you are located in the UK.

For this tutorial, we will be using Amazon Firestick 4K TV. However, the same steps can be used to install the UK Turks app and Kodi addon on any Amazon Firestick and other android streaming devices.

So, let’s first learn how to install UK Turks App on Amazon Firestick.

How to Install UK Turks App on Amazon Firestick

Like any other good streaming device, Amazon Firestick also prevents its users from installing any app from third parties as these apps can be harmful to your devices. If an app isn’t available in the official Amazon app store, you will need to carry out a few extra steps to install the app.

We’ve divided the UK Turks app installation process on Amazon into three parts for your convenience. Each part will guide you through the process and steps to install UK Turks on Amazon Firestick

These three parts are:

Part 1: Downloading Sideloading App on Amazon Firestick

Sideloading an app is essential for downloading and installing any third-party app on Amazon Firestick. Since Amazon Firestick doesn’t come with a pre-installed internet browser app, it becomes mandatory for us to install a browsing app.

We highly recommend the Downloader app, which will enable you to download an APK file from the internet and let you install it on your Amazon Firestick. Downloader is officially available on the Amazon App Store and can be downloaded from here.

Part 2: Enabling Apps from Unknown Sources

The second part will help you to enable Apps from Unknown Sources. The setting is inside Amazon Firestick, and when disabled, it will stop you from installing any apps that are not available in the Amazon App Store.

Once you Enable the Apps from Unknown Sources, you will be able to install any downloaded APK file/app onto your Amazon Firestick device.

Part 3: Installing UK Turks App from a Sideloading App on Amazon Firestick

After completing parts 1 and 2, I will show you how you can use the sideloading app, Downloader, to download and install the UK Turks app on your Amazon Firestick.
So, let’s get started!

Part 1: Downloading Sideloading app: Downloader

Lucky for us, the Downloader app is available on the official Amazon App Store. This makes it super easy to download and install the Downloader app on your Firestick.

Let’s download and install the Downloader app by following the steps given below:

  1. On your Firestick Home screen, select Find and then click on Search.
Firestick home page with prominent Find and Search buttons
  2. You will see the search screen below. Use your remote to either type or you can use the voice search option to search for Downloader.
Amazon Firestick search function with Downloader highlighted
  3. Select the Downloader icon. Click on it, and it will automatically start to download and install.
The Downloader app highlighted, here’s the app you want.
Clickable option to install Downloader on Firestick

Once it has finished downloading, you will be able to see the launch button, indicating that you’ve successfully installed the app and can begin using it.

Now we have to move on to the second part of this process, enabling apps from unknown sources.

Part 2: Enabling Apps from Unknown Sources

As we mentioned earlier, Amazon settings restrict users from installing apps developed by third parties by disabling the apps from unknown sources. This setting comes by default, and if you want to install any app developed by a third party that isn’t available in the official Amazon App store, you will need to enable this setting from the Settings menu.

Let me show you how you can Enable Apps from Unknown Sources.

  1. Head back to Firestick’s home screen, select the last icon on the top navigation bar, and click Settings.
    Click Settings App
  2. Select and open My Fire TV.
    Select My Fire TV
  3. Click to open Developer Options.
Developer options highlighted in the My Fire TV menu, find Developer options.
  4. Select Apps from Unknown Sources.
    Apps from Unknown Sources
  5. A warning prompt will appear; click Turn On.
the Developer Options and click to allow Apps from Unknown Sources

You have now enabled apps from unknown sources, and this will allow you to install apps developed by third parties that are sideloaded via the Downloader app.

At this point, you’ve completed two-thirds of the process. Let’s move on to the final part, which is installing the UK Turks app from the sideloading app.

UK Turks is a great streaming app and Kodi addon. You will find almost any kind of content you could possibly want to watch in its library. The content is neatly sorted under various categories such as TV Shows, Documentaries, Movies, Live TV, Radio, Cartoons, and even Concerts!

UK Turks App and Kodi addon have almost similar categories, with the addition and subtraction of just a few categories.
